Here is another study working with transparent, translucent and opaque paint. I have tried to use the transparent paint in the shadows and dark aresa, the translucent paint in the half tones and the opaque paint in the lightest areas.

I picked these from my garden. I was interested in the smoothness of the objects contrasted with the roughness of the brick. The light is red and the shadows are blue-violet.
